TRICKSTER

When I started making the trickster I was feeling chagrin at some folly, and hoped to capture what I sensed as the dark humor in it. At the beginning, I spooked myself with the empty, masked eyes, and wanted to bring a lighter quality to the piece, so he became clown-like.
